   Wood Colonial Non-Tapered Round Smooth Column Pricing
 
Column shafts are constructed from finger-jointed Pine staves, with a one-year limited warranty if installed according to Turncraft's installation instructions. Other column sizes are available -- please call for a quote.

All exterior finger-jointed Pine products manufactured by Turncraft are treated with Woodtreat MB water repellant, which provides maximum protection against mold, mildew, staining and decaying fungi. This also increases dimensional stability and helps prevent shrinkage, swelling, and warping. More information on our Hallmark Certification from WDMA is available. Factory applied priming and interior asphalt coating are available as added protection against moisture damage.

Wood column shafts are shorter than column nominal height. Standard cap and base shipped are polyurethane. Finger-jointed Pine is an available option. The cap and base are load bearing and attach to the ends of the shaft, achieving the stated overall height. Weights are always approximate and do not include crates (12" x 16'0 and larger columns are crated.)

All sizes of wood columns can be fluted. Custom fluting for your specific opening height is available at the standard fluting price!

Cap and Base are also split when ordered with split shafts. Split columns are not load bearing, even if reassembled. All pieces of split columns are shipped, banded together for stability. Turncraft will split your wood columns in any of the following plan types:
Plan A is either unsplit, or split/spline for reassembly.
Plan B is one quarter cut out for a wall corner. (Ships with a plan Q at no charge.)


Plan C is one quarter cut off for a pilaster.
Plan D is one column cut in half for two pilasters.


Plan Q is one quarter for an inside corner. (Shipped free with a Plan B.)
Plan W is cut out for a wall wrap. (Please specify wall width when ordering.)
Custom split plans are also available. Please specify your requirements. Turncraft will not split square Colonial (KD) columns.
